Oh and it's nice to see that everyone here is from all over the world!

    Hi. I'm Rubin.
    I draw.

The ghostly folk rock of Radical Face waltzed into my ears via a Pandora station and I've been hooked ever since.

Hi, I'm Sarah and like some other people from the UK I first heard Welcome Home on a documentary about Eddie Izzard running marathons .I'm a bit of a technophobe so glad to hear stuff will eventually be on CD. Even if I did drag myself into the 21st century I think I would miss the physical act of putting a CD in the player! Thanks for making such wonderfully evocative music.

Hi, My name is Sean, from the North of England. Been a fan of Radical Face since Ghost was released. Just recently, I have really started getting into the work Ben does in general rather than just been aware of one album, really started getting into Electric President, I love the assignments with Mothers Basement, and with Patients I loved the idea of running off 100 CD's and trading them for something other than money, it was beautiful to read some of the things that were traded. The new album is fantastic, I've listened to it 5 times in the last 24 hours via an online stream and I will definitely be buying it on 15th October when I get paid. Really looking forward to the complete body of work on the family tree. Hope these come quick and fast. Does Ben write/has he published any books?

Hello everybody. My name's Tom and I'm from Exeter in the UK. I'm Patients #64. I first came across Ben's music when "Glory" and "Wrapped in Piano Strings" were put up on the mp3 blog 3hive - that must have been sometime in 2007 in the days before "Welcome Home" was everywhere! From there I went on to acquire myself a copy of Ghost, and it quickly became one of my favourite albums. Then I quickly acquired Electric President's S/T album and loved it to! From there I bought everything new (and acquired older stuff) as soon as it was released/posted online. Through Mother's Basement I came into contact with Rick and got all of his stuff (Rickolus + 2 Julius Airwaves albums) too!

And now one of my dreams is to have a shed full of musical instruments.

    It's nice to be here!

Aaah, I always forget these threads. Not this time!
Hi everyone, I'm Björn from Austria. I found out about Ben like most of the others -> through the Nikon spot, and I'm glad I did.
I'm still going to school, though hopefully not for much longer so I can pursue my dream of acting professionally. I'm already very active in that regard and would also love to work more with music, but time and money so far haven't allowed for that to happen. I want to change that. Oh and I like writing - so yeah, a little creative minded person :)

Have a nice day and - by the way - if you're reading this: you are a wonderful person, go out there and enjoy life!

My name is Tim and I live in Baltimore.
A friend of mine introduced Radical Face to me last year and I've been hooked ever since. Ben's songs have found their way onto several mix CDs and I've converted several friends into fans.
"Ghost" seems to pair nicely with a lot of the scenery in Maryland, and I find myself constantly playing it in the car.
I didn't think "Welcome Home" could be topped until I heard "Mountains" from the new album. Absolutely mindblowing. While all the new tracks are fantastic, it is that one which I've been playing the most. There is something so ethereal about it; actually, it seems to come from another dimension altogether.

    Hi Ben and Everyone!!!

How's everyone doing??!! I'm Charly from (near) Manchester in the UK. Haven't really been listening to Radical Face for that long.. well actually it's been about 2 weeks lol. And I suppose like a fair few people in the UK the first I heard was "Welcome Home" on the Nikon advert (the shame!) But I loved it and thought I would check out your other stuff. Got Ghost, was absolutely floored by it... it's just so beautiful. So then when I saw The Family Tree: The Roots was out soon I was so so chuffed, preorded the bundle (oh yes!) and have since fallen in love with that too, much to the annoyance of people around me! It's all I've listened too since I got it!! And then today I finally found and ordered my tickets for the London show!!! AND then.. sorry.. it is like piecing a puzzle together, finding all this great stuff, I heard you did "Not in Nottingham" from the Disney film Robin Hood!! ... Now.. If you hadn't already won me over.. by doing that song.. I'm in love with you now.. That film was my favourite film as a kid and embarrassingly it still is!! So you can imagin... overjoyed now!! So cheers Ben!! Can't wait to see you in London!!! Thank you so much!! Off to listen to some Electric President stuff now!!!

Hahaha. Yeah, I've been covering that song for maybe 10 years now. I always liked that soundtrack a lot. I also recorded a version back in 2009 as a live take: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kj3fHW3c_Zk

Just received The Family Tree:The Roots in the mail. Gift from a friend who had heard your music and loved it. Have to say it is an amazing album. Fantastic packaging, Nice T-shirt and extras. Can't really see how you made any money off of sales. Feels like a gift straight from your heart.
I just wanted to stop by and say how much I appreciate the work, soul and money you must have put into this.
I'm from the heart of Illinois, Springfield. And if you guys are ever passing through town you've got a place to stay.. or a terrible tour guide... whichever you need.

The admiration and respect that goes between fans and Ben (and vice versa) is remarkable. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's show in Virginia..... the music and the atmosphere in the place. I'm from Maryland, and this will be my first Radical Face show. Can't wait to hear whatever is played.
