Hello everybody, i'm Ben and was in the last forum too but its good to see a new that i'm sure will be just as interesting and helpful :).
I'm from England and first heard Ben's music on the Eddie Izzard documentary that Tired Trooper has mentioned and shown. I instantly loved it and downloaded 'Shazam' on my phone, especially to find out what it was! I too prefer Radical Face to Electric President, but EP seems to be growing on me :).

I was just wondering are there anymore details on the EP that is coming out in between now and The Roots. Has it got a release date? Is it links with The Family Tree or just random songs?

Hey all. Eoin from Canada. I was in the last forum as well. I discovered Ben's work from my brother who had electric president's first album. I loved all his work since, I can't say I prefer any of his projects over others. They all seem great to me. Super pumped for the roots to come out. I will definitely be getting a pre order bundle :)

It's totally fine to post links. No worries at all. And I was happy to be apart of that documentary in some way. I was already a fan of Izzard (Dressed to Kill is a great stand-up), and the documentary itself was great. That man is nuts. In a good way.

It'll be coming out in about a week, actually. It'll go out first through the mailing list, then I'll post it other places. I'm not sure how long it'll be available in that form, but at least a few weeks.

And yes, it's a part of the Family Tree. I'm gonna be giving out free EPs all along the way of releasing this trilogy idea, and the EPs are collectively titled "The Bastards." This first one has 3 tracks. They'll have somewhere between 2 and 5 tracks a piece, and there will likely be about 4 of them.

Hi, I'm Anne from Australia. Have been a fan of Radical Face for about ... 2 weeks now :) I heard Welcome Home on the Nikon ad and have been hooked ever since! I love live music, books and movies, so I thought I might as well stop by and say hi.

Hey Everyone! I'm Paul from Toronto, ON Canada. I posted a few things on the old forum in its final days, but I never bothered to introduce myself.
Let's see... I'm 25 and I'm a bit of an audio nerd. I have a decent home recording studio and I'm starting to build my own audio gear. Just finished building an SSL buss comp clone :) If you want to get into a lengthy discussion on anything audio related, I'm your guy!
Ghost is probably one of my most cherished albums. It really had an effect on me right from the first listen. It's also been a life changing album for a couple friends I introduced to it.
    Thanks Ben!

Hello! I'm Thomas from Karlskrona, Sweden. A friend showed me Ghost last autumn, and it got me completely hooked. You're definitely one of my favorite musicians ever. I love how your music feels so well-thought-out and just.. interesting on a whole.
    Cheers!

Hey Ben I didn't think this deserved its own thread, but when the merchandise store opens is there a possiblity of stickers or shirts for bearmachine?
Also didn't introduce myself earlier, but I'm Nick from Spokane, WA but now live in Olympia. I first heard your music about 5 or 6 years ago and have been listening to it ever since. Keep up the good work.

Hi, I'm Christina from Switzerland. Well I know Radical Face from the Nikon ad, and I just have to say that "Welcome Home" is the most beautiful song I've ever heard! Thank you for this masterpiece!

Hi Ben, I'm Ryan from California. A good friend of mine introduced me to you around 2 months ago, and there hasn't been a day that I haven't heard at least one song of yours since. Your music inspires deeper thought in me than I ever thought music could take me. I love every song you've done and you have a lifelong fan in me, in all your artistic pursuits. Thank you for everything.

Hi all. Alexis from Chicago, originally from Western PA. I was recommended Radical Face by a friend last summer and still get the chills whenever i listen to Ghost. My favorite experience listening to Radical Face has to be driving through the Smokey Mountains in North Carolina at dusk. So perfect. Looking forward to the new album/shows more than I have for any other record in a long, long time!

Hey everyone, I'm John from Washington DC. First heard Ben Cooper off a friend when I was 16. 4 years later he's still my favorite musician and this upcoming cd really has me excited.
Ben, I read on your interview that you will be performing in DC on October 22nd. Can you please post more info so that I can make it to this show. Seeing you perform would be a highlight of my college career. As a side note, I eagerly check my email daily in anticipation of your new EP and I wanted to thank you for the download of Glory! You're an amazing artist and person from what I've read through interviews. Many thanks for any reply!

I love this forum. Its very similar to my other online addiction of OrangePower.com So it is easy and familiar to use, and instead of constantly reading about my football team drama, I can come over here and enjoy some great discussions with fellow Radcal Face/Ben Cooper fans.

My name is Cal. I am from Owasso, Oklahoma. I went to school at Oklahoma State and now live in Stillwater working as a videographer for OSU Fire Service Training.

I got into Radical Face through my little bro and listened to Ghost rather casually. But after my Sophomore year at OSU, I became a huge fan after a soul altering experience you could say. I may post this whole thought as a new topic so maybe we can all discuss the joys music has brought and how it has changed our perceptions on things.

Either way, I listen to Ghost all the time now. I cannot wait for The Roots. And I am excited to be posting here.

    Love you all. Mean it

Hey Guys, I was on the last forum but this one does seem better. Anyway, here is a link to 4 videos from Ben's set in Echo Park (LA) on Tuesday night. It has performances of 3 new songs, and Welcome Home. Ben said his voice was going out, but they sound great to me!

Ben - random and cool running into you at the hollywood Y, haha 2 dudes all the way from Jax Beach in the same place at the same time is pretty rad. Talk to you soon!

Hello, Noah from MA. Been listening to your music since late 2009, and you are one of few artists who have really made an impression on me no matter what genre I have been into at the time. I was relatively active on the old forum, and I am looking forward to Canadian spam-bot free discussions!

Hey there, I`m from Mexico. To be honest I don`t know much of your work, just recently came to listen to that digital camera`s tv add which you gave life with your song... it was sooo beautiful tune, so powerful.. so relaxing, so full of hope, dreams, untold stories that i couldn`t help finding our more about it, can`t stand one day without listening to it whether the morning or before sleep, but ir reminds me that "there is always hope for those who has the heart to find it". What can I say? am a big newfan. Plz man, keep on the extraordinary work you are doing, and I hope, although it is quite difficult but not impossible, someday I can see you live in my country. It would be mind blowing overwhelming moment to listen "welcome home" live!!! It just makes me want to be a better person today than I was yesterday...
