Hello Everyone, my name's Joey from Mesa, AZ, also known as the most boring city in the United States. I've been a fan of Radical Face for about three years now, and stalking this forum as a guest for at least a year. Anyway, through all of the different musical genres, bands, and experiences I've come into contact with through life, Radical Face has prevailed my favorite band by far. All in all, Ben is pretty much the only person that's ever really inspired me, and his music has helped me through some pretty bad times, just like it has for a lot of the other people here. I think that's what brought us all here and what made his music stand out above all of the rest; there's no part of a work by Ben Cooper that could be deemed anything less than remarkable. It speaks to me and inspires me in a way that nothing else can-- thank you, Ben
I can not sign up here for a very long time. My name is Alexander, and, yes, I am from Russia. We've got people who love Ben's music, too. His work has had a great influence on me. When I met the Radical Face, I really changed, began to look at the world differently. I doubt that Ben will see my message, but I thank him very much.
Howdy, howdy, howdy. My name is Elizabeth and I'm from Connecticut. I've been a fan of Radical Face for almost a year, thanks to pandora, and I can't think of anything I like more, er... In terms of music that is. I had the chance to see you perform live in Richmond this past weekend. Great show! I'm sorry, I don't really have much to say I'm not very comfortable with talking to those I don't know, even online but I figured I should at least introduce myself.
sup y'all I actually signed up here months ago but must've gotten distracted by something shiny and only remembered to come back because of this morning's e-mail, so here goes My name's Max, and I reside in Florida. I can still place exactly how I first heard Ben's music - my junior year of high school my US History teacher was playing S/T in his classroom one morning. I really liked it but didn't know what it was, so I saw the CD case on the desk and scribbled "electric president" down in my notebook, so I could try to figure out what the song was when I got home. I didn't get very far, because by this point I couldn't for the life of me remember how the song went anymore, or what any of the words were, so I'm glad he played it again a few days later so I could say with certainty that Insomnia was the first song I heard, and that I was also able to say with certainty, upon listening to S/T myself about 50 times, that it's one of my five or ten favorite albums at the very least since 2000. From there I guess it was just a logical progression to come upon Radical Face and the plethora of other music projects. His work is "Always Gold" (ugh that was terrible) so I'm looking forward to the new releases. Also to being uncomfortable.
Ben, i'm sorry, but why there are no new news at radicalface.com. Spring ends, but we dont listen "Clone" =( It so sad ='(
Ben lives a pretty busy life and things often get delayed, but don't worry man, it will come eventually and the wait will make it so much better
I've also been wondering if details about Clone would surface soon, like you say, its sure to be here sometime. I've been meaning to say something about the Forum as well. It seems that activity on the forum is going through one its lulls like it occasionally does. But I wondered whether Ben and other regulars are still active. I assumed it was just generally quiet, but then I noticed Ben had posted a few updates on his Facebook page since his last posts here and on the website. Its obviously not a problem, but I just wondered whether the feeling is that the most up to date discussion is happening on the Facebook or other places. It seems those other places are more active, but I still like the community feel of the forum, haha So yeh, just wondering what your thoughts are, and a call out to anyone else that's checking the forum and were possibly thinking the same.
I'm still checking on the forum almost everyday too. But since there isn't anything new here, I don't post either (actually, even when someone posts something I usually read it but I don't really often post a reply). I don't worry too much though, I know the time will come when there will be a new release and this forum will be alive again.
Yeah, I've not been posting cause there's been nothing to post about, but I have still been coming on here
Yeah, I like to check out these pages every so often, but I haven't had anything to add lately. Figured I'd post this time to say I still exist too. And I hope Clone exists soon.
Can't say I've posted here much in the past, but I still drop in regularly, too. Looking forward to seeing a bit more activity sometime.
Yay, it's nice to see everyone's still around, even if there's not much to post about! Seems like there's a bit more discussion going on now anyway, and hopefully even more when there are some new releases. Speaking of which, has anyone heard anything at all about Clone? As far as I know Ben is currently recording the final Family Tree (Relatives?), so I don't know if Clone is delayed until after that, or maybe it could be a surprise release any time soon
