I agree, the show was intimate, entertaining and brilliant from start to finish. Got some photos to share but it will need to wait until we make the long journey back up to Scotland and back to our wi-fi haha.
Hi dogbert, met you at show last night. I had such a great time. Trying to think of a deserving adjective to describe their performance but feeling a bit knackered after last night so 'amazing' will have to do. I also have some photos and footage of Jack playing with his yo- yo but will need to wait until I figure out how to put them on here. Despite being in obvious discomfort with his back, Ben was a true professional and did a superb job. Thank you. p.s. took my mum who is now a fan and bought the album there and then!
I was there as well (friend of Jack's new wife), I really can't imagine it going any better, it was definitely one of the best nights of my life.

Was lovely to meet you and your family at the show, and glad to hear your Mum is now a fan Here are some pics I grabbed, sadly my digital camera let me down indoors in low light (as they so often do). I wish my SLR wasn't so bulky or I'd have taken it with me instead, ah well. And this is a pic from Monday night, we had tickets for Tuesday's show but since we were down in London for a couple of days we had a drink in The Lexington on Monday and I managed to meet and have a chat with Ben, which was pretty cool And as an extra treat, here's a little clip of Jack doing some yo-yo magic while Ben prepared for his encore. Ben, Jack and Jeremiah were all amazing to watch and totally engaged the audience. They were funny and natural on stage, and it was refreshing to see such talent not taking themselves too seriously and had the audience laughing out loud with them on the subjects of murder and suicide.... now that's a skill. We travelled over 400 miles for the show, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Ben.

Ah, thanks folks. I'm glad you had a good time. I realize I'm not even close to professional, and even worse when playing with friends of mine, but I prefer it to be informal. It's more fun on my end. But I'm glad it was enjoyable for you too, seeing as you paid for it. Hahaha. And thanks for coming and saying hello. I mean it when I say I like to meet people when I'm out. I don't get out often, so it's a nice change.
I got back at half three in the morning and the first thing I did was try and go on the forums to write a report before I forgot but I fell asleep in the process. It was such a great night, Ellie is expecting that engagement ring to come through in the post from Jack any day now
