I've checked back here weekly since Christmas, and nothing! What's happening? I'm still waiting for a DL of The Bastards Vol 3, but really want an update on the next album!

I have to say I've haven't been keeping tracking as much as I normally do. It seems the facebook page gets all of the updates these days, not the forum or the website. Have you seen the post on January 13th? I'll quote it here for any forum people who don't really use facebook (myself included)

Hi there.
So it's been a little while since I've posted very much. I have a whole bunch coming up this year, and I wanted to have some of my ducks in a row before I talked about it.
So first off, recording. I'm doing a lot of it this year. First and foremost, I'll be wrapping up all the remaining Family Tree recordings. It's crazy to me that I began working on all this in 2008. 7 years. Holy hell.

What that means as far as releases go is that the final Bastards EP will come out in summer, and the final Family tree record in Fall. For those who have asked: yes, I will be pressing all the Bastards EPs into a single volume. It'll be like a companion record to the main three. I will also be making a box set of everything, including a little book that explains the entire Family Tree project. It'll have charts that lay out the entire family, which songs relate to which people, a handful of short stories I've written for the project but never put up, and art and sketches and notes from my notebooks. Basically, it'll (hopefully) make sense of this giant mess of records I've made.
And that will all come out in the Fall. I've got a lot of work to do getting the presentation together, hence the long lead out. But I'm excited to finally wrap this all up. It's been a long time coming.
Beyond that, I have some shows coming up next month in Japan. Here are the dates, if you happen to be on that side of the world:
February 7th - Tokyo, Komyoji
February 8th - Hamamatsu, Kamoe Art Center 301
February 11th - Nagoya, Spazio Rita
February 12th- Kyoto, Guest House Kyoto
February 13th - Fukuoka, Papparayray
February 14th - Kobe, Guggenheim House
February 15th - Tokyo, Niu Hostel
I'll be playing a very different set than the ones I've done for the past few years. I'm pretty excited about the change. It's both smaller and bigger at the same time. Which I realize doesn't make sense (lolartdescriptions), but hey.
I will be doing a good number of shows around this last Family Tree record as well, both in the US and Europe, and potentially a few other spots. And I have some really neat ideas for them. But I will announce all that when I finish mixing and making the videos and the box set and everything else. One thing at a time.
I also have some announcements concerning new recordings from my other project, Electric President, expanding Bear Machine (my mini-label), but I think I've rambled enough for now. And since I'm recording pretty much non-stop for next 4 months, I figured I'd include a picture of my piano. We're hanging out a lot again.
