Hey Ben - so I had to rejoin....guess everyone did with the new forum? Anyway, I was wondering where the old gear thread was? I always found it interesting what stuff you're using in the studio. I went to look for it and couldn't find it - maybe I'm just missing it somewhere. Hope all is well - can't wait to hear the new record!
It's not just you. Had to set this one up with a totally different server. I would like to get the test forum up for archive purposes, but I haven't been able to get to it yet. So I guess this can be the new gear thread.
Cool Ben - yeah, I figured there was a different server, etc - just saw some of the threads re-posted here. There was lot of cool stuff in there - recording chain, mics, preamps, plugins, daw, etc - so guess we can just start fresh. So did you ever switch over to Reaper? Lately, I've been wondering how and what you use for reverbs/delays? All plugins or any hardware? It sounds like you've taken a more pure approach to the new record which can be a nice change. What's your current signal chain?
