There isn't much activity at the moment, considering this is the forum of a respected musician. It's nice to have small forums, but when nobody's posting it makes me sad ): so could we promote it or something? By that I mean posting a link on the Radical Face facebook page. This does of course hinge on whether signup actually works at the moment.
I just have to say... I was so excited to receive Ben's update today!! Sad no trips to LA any time soon, BUT happy to hear the record is trucking along. Keep it up, Ben! We appreciate your sleep deprivation and reclusiveness. Haha.
I guess there's not a whole lot in anticipation of an album's completion/release date announcement. Only so much to say, and most of is along the lines of what Carrie said above. The general music thread has been really quiet lately, which I guess should be a better chat, as well as the Q&A and such, until there's more news about the new album and more to get excited about.
All true, but not all talk on a forum necessarily needs to revolve around said forum's central topic. I just thought it would be cool if we had a bit more discussion and stuff, because I get bored a lot.
Yeah, the news of his tour list was a pleasant surprise because I had been wondering when he was going to be hitting S.F. up again, as when he enters the area, I'm there! But I think I'm as pumped as you guys to hear and listen to his new material. As for the down time on fan talk here, I'm sorry for that. I'm usually reading what everyone is posting, but not posting myself. I suppose I need to amp it up a little.
Likewise, I normally check in pretty regularly, but I've just never got into the habit of posting. Definitely hyped for The Branches, though! Sounds like it's getting really close to completion now.
